Scale Exercise 11 for D Whistle in D and G

Music and Tabs (Play along with Scott)

In this video I’ll introduce scale exercise 11.

This scale exercise is designed to help us create finger muscle memory, dexterity as we play our whistles, as well as working on specific patterns we find in the music we play.

This scale exercise is in 3/4 time and includes phrases we find in the tunes we play. I crafted the exercise so that the phrases are repeated in a walk up and down both the D and the G scales. This exercise helps in all the usual ways: finger muscle memory, dexterity, learning specific phrases we find repeated in the music we play, ornamentation in phrases, expression, and speed drills.
