Derry Air - Londonderry Air - Danny Boy

We’ve spoken before about learning to play a tune by listening to someone else play. In today’s video, I want to encourage you that you can work out how to play a tune that you know.

Our example is the classic tune Londonderry Air, which is also used for the song Danny Boy.

If you know this tune, then I believe you are able to find the notes and begin playing it. In today’s video I will do just that. I have no music at hand, and did not prepare. I will simply work at finding the tune.

I am doing this to encourage you that you can do the same.
