Ornaments are one of the primary ways we add expression, flair, and emotion to tunes.

The tonguing ornament is a key ornament in our tool kit. In this video I help us learn more about the tonguing ornament. We think about three different ways to express this ornament.

Each of the three ways provides a different intensity to the ornament. The first option provides a very sharp entry to the note. The next two options are much more subtle in their sound.
