Scale Exercise 29 in D and G for Low and High D Whistles

Music and Tabs (Play along with Scott)

In this video I introduce exercise 29 for low and high D whistles. Use this exercise particularly to work on tone quality and dexterity. This exercise also helps us work on playing all the notes on our whistle as well as octave jumps.

The exercise can also be used to develop your ability with playing quickly and using ornaments.

I play the exercise on the Carbony Wide Bore low D with close finger spacing, and the Wild Irish high D.
