The hornpipe The Little Beggarman, also called the Red-Haired Boy among other names, is a delight to play.

Join me as I walk us through the tune so we can all become familiar with it. My focus in this video is for us to learn the core of the tune, in hornpipe rhythm. After we learn the core of the tune, in rhythm, we are then free to work on ornamentation and expression as well as pace.
