Introducing Scarborough Fair for Low and High D Whistles

In this video I introduce the tune Scarborough Fair. This is an old English ballad. The origins of the tune for Scarborough Fair may have come from a Medieval tune, but the tune we know was massaged and crafter at some point. We can assume it may have been crafted to tell a story based around the fair that was held in Scarborough.

I walk us through the tune. We also talk about any difficulties you may encounter, ornamentation and expression, and I share information that seems interesting about the history of the tune.
