Introducing Doherty's, Peoples', Donegal Mazurka for Low and High D Whistles

In this video I introduce Doherty’s Mazurka.

This tune goes by a number of other names, such as Tommy Peoples’ Mazurka and the Donegal Mazurka. As we learn mazurkas on our low and high whistles this is one we need to have in our repertoire. I walk us through the tune, introducing the core of the tune. We talk about possible trouble spots, ornamentation, and the history of the tune.
