Half Holes for Sharps and Flats
Hi, friends.
In this lesson I introduce special fingering for playing accidental sharps and flats. This sounds difficult, but it isn’t.
In order to play a sharp or flat that your whistle normally does not play, simply uncover half of the hole of the note. When you are playing an accidental sharp, uncover half of the hole of the note in order to increase the tone the half step. If you need to play an accidental flat, uncover half of the hole of the note below the one you are playing to decrease the tone one half step.
