Half Holing on our Tin Whistles to Expand the Range of Tunes We Can Play
Music and TabsIn this video I share using half holing to play extra sharps and flats on our low and high D whistles. Yes, the general rule of thumb is to use a whistle in the key in which you want to play. However, there are many instances in the tunes we want to play when we need to be comfortable playing additional sharps and flats up and down our whistles. This skill opens the door for us to play many more tunes.
