Revisit the First Tunes You Played on Your Whistle to Celebrate Your Progress

Music and Tabs (Play along with Scott)

We often set aside the first tunes we play when we are learning to play our whistle. It’s very helpful to revisit the tunes we played when first learning to play the whistle. Virtually all of us have been playing for at least a little while. It is always helpful pulling out an older tune and playing it to demonstrate to yourself how much you have grown.

Of course we want to continue growing, but it is good to play these old tunes and celebrate our progress. As part of this I play The Dawning of the Day in this video.

The Dawning of the Day was the first tune I played when I was just starting to learn to play the low D whistle.
