In this video I introduce and walk us through the Polka, The Rakes of Mallow.

This is an easier tune to play, memorable, and enables us to work on developing our speed in a skills.

The Rakes of Mallow, as a Polka, has an A part and a B part that both repeat. I share some recommendations on improving our speed through this tune. We also talk about the interesting history of this tune that dates at least to the middle of the 18th century.
