Learning to Play High Notes on Low D Whistle

Hi, friends.

In this video we’re considering how to play the highest notes on our low D whistles. We do not play these often, but it is important for us to be able to do so when needed.

I have a few recommendations: Be patient with yourself, experiment with your breath pressure, don’t quit trying, make this a part of your regular practice, experiment with breath pressure and how you are holding your whistle.
